SparkLabs Korea was celebrating their Demo day and invited Ming-Na to speak on a panel this November 3rd. On this panel Ming-Na talk about lots of things, this was her first time in Korea so she was enjoying that experience, she talk about how she started in Hollywood as an actress and the challenges she faced over the years. She talked about "non traditional casting" and she mentioned her roles in ER and Agents Of SHIELD.
Ming-Na also hinted two of her future projects, the moderator, Teddy Zee, asked about the movie sequel of Joy Luck Club and she said she is waiting for the script and she was excited about it. Ming-Na also loves k-beauty and she wanted to come up with her own brand of beauty cream.
For last, she was asked for an advice for people who are starting out something and facing new challenges and this was part of her advice:
If you are passionate about something you just have to go head-on into it and not make excuses.
